We have not been here in a very long time. Service and food are still great! Nothing has change much and you seat yourself. It’s not a big place. They don’t honor military but do take 5% off your bill if you pay cash.
Dearest Raj, there are privately owned diners as close as College Park charging 2 DOLLARS! PER! EGG! I know, because I was just there yesterday, so please don’t apologize for that! I don’t know what you’re doing to keep your prices so incredibly low (1.95 for coffee is WILD), but please keep doing it! Great service!
This charming little eatery is such a hidden treasure! The staff was super friendly and all had warm personalities. They made us feel welcome right away as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere is one of familiarity, like your great aunties kitchen. You can tell the locals gather here because the staff greets them by name as they enter! Now, the food... I was actually blown away! I was not expecting it to be over the top or stand out, but it really was! The flounder was fantastic! The onion rings were great. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. The food alone is a great reason to stop in. The prices are reasonable and you don't feel like you're being robbed, like some other places. We have been here before and so this was our second time visiting. We will definitely be back. A really great place to stop in and eat.

I highly recommend Country Kitchen in Longwood. Anytime you are in the area, stop by and ask for Nancy. She has been my server a few times now and she is amazing. She's tentative, friendly, and always goes above and beyond. You can see how much she enjoys her job and her customers! The food is always good, hot and fresh, and exactly how you would expect.

First time at Longwood Country Kitchen and we really enjoyed it. We ordered Country Fried Steak with 2 eggs, cup of fresh fruit & a biscuit (7.99), Eggs Benedict with Home fries (7.99) and 1 slice of French Toast with a side of bacon (5.50). Everything was prepared well, the country fried steak had good flavor and I could cut it with my fork. The ham on the Eggs Benedict was also nice, lean and flavorful. This is a decent sized cafe where you seat yourself. Service is good and friendly. The prices here are pretty awesome too. The breakfast menu has just about everything you could want for breakfast. We will definitely be back when we are going to be in the area.
This was our first visit to Country Kitchen but definitely not our last. This is the quintessential American diner - tables are filled with regulars, the food is priced well and comes out hot. The French toast was fluffy and fantastic. Hash browns were crispy. The omelette was huge and filling. Absolutely no complaints here, only praises! Upon walking in and seating ourselves, we had multiple waitresses come to make sure our drink order was taken. Service is stellar. We can’t wait to come back!
